Class Levels

As we are two different clubs, we teach lessons at a variety of levels to accommodate the social and competitive sides.

Beginner

Taught by advanced student instructors at a slow pace, this class is open to anyone and is great if you are just starting out! The beginner class offers a fun way to learn about social dancing in a relaxed environment. Attending this class allows individuals to get a taste of what ballroom dancing is like.


Intermediate

Taught by advanced student instructors, the intermediate class is more intense and fast-paced than the beginner class. It offers the opportunity for individuals to build on fundamentals learned in the beginner class and is open to anyone. This class acts as a gateway to higher level classes.


Technique

Taught by our professional coaches, the technique class offers an in-depth teaching about fundamental techniques for different styles of dancing. This class acts as a supplement for any other class, and it is encouraged that individuals who want to improve their dancing attend this class. It is open to anyone and acts as a gateway to higher level classes.

Bronze 

Level Placement Testing Required

Taught by our professional coaches, the bronze class is the first level geared towards individuals who wish to compete at the bronze level or above. In addition to focusing on technique, the bronze class teaches club members basic competition knowledge including moves, styling, and presentation. In order to attend this class, it is required that individuals pass a level placement test.

Silver 

Level Placement Testing Required

Taught by our professional coaches, the silver class is offered to the most advanced dancers in the club and is geared towards individuals who wish to compete at the silver level or above. A thorough knowledge of technique and the bronze syllabus is required to attend this class, and it is required that individuals pass a level placement test.
